Overview of MWC Shanghai 2025
1. Event Summary
MWC Shanghai 2025, one of the most influential events in the global communication industry, gathered key players across the communications ecosystem under the theme 'Connection, Innovation, Creation', including industry leaders, research institutions, and experts. Centered on the convergence of 5G, IoT, and AI in communication, the event highlighted how innovative communication is paving the way to transform industrial landscapes.
2. Industry Development Trends
(1) Vertical Integration of 5G: The application of 5G technology in vertical industries is deepening continuously. From industrial manufacturing and intelligent transportation to healthcare and energy management, the high-speed and low-latency features of 5G provide strong impetus for the digital transformation of various industries. It drives profound changes in the production methods, business processes, and service models of traditional industries, helping enterprises attain intelligent production and refined management.
(2) Accelerated Exploration of 6G: Research institutions and enterprises worldwide are increasing their investment in basic theoretical research, key technology breakthroughs, and application scenario exploration of 6G. As the next generation of innovative communication technology, 6G will exhibit higher transmission speeds, lower latency, and wider coverage, granting stronger support for future intelligent society development.
(3)Deep Convergence with Multiple Fields: Intelligent communication networks and IoT platforms are enabling seamless interaction and collaboration among devices. This integration unlocks efficient solutions for smart homes, cities, and agriculture, while also supporting low-altitude economies (such as drone logistics, aerial tourism, and aviation mapping) with reliable data transmission and connectivity. Moreover, the communication industry is championing green development, leveraging energy-efficient hardware and optimized network architectures to reduce carbon footprints and drive sustainable progress.
Highlights of Tongyu Innovative Communication
Located at booth N1-D85, we showcased our core innovative communication technologies in five major areas under the topic of 'Intelligent Connection, Seamless Integration':
1. Satellite Communication Technology
Our satellite-ground integrated communication solution employs both Geostationary Earth Orbit and Low Earth Orbit technologies, delivering efficient and reliable connectivity for maritime shipping, aviation communications, emergency disaster relief, and remote regions. Covering on-board payloads, ground stations, and user terminals, the solution has been successfully deployed on satellite Internet test satellites and integrated into the supply chains of global mainstream operators.
2. MacroWiFi
MacroWiFi features a high-gain dual-beam antenna array, permitting a transmission distance of up to 1.5 to 2 kilometers. This extends its coverage area to 10 times that of traditional WiFi devices. With a 180° wide-angle coverage design, the microwave antenna ensures stable network connectivity in outdoor environments. The product supports over 200 users online simultaneously, reducing signal interference through an intelligent bandwidth allocation mechanism.
3. Green Communication
Our green antennas boast an innovative full-fusion nested architecture, supporting both high/low bands. Utilizing low-loss metallic ribbon as the feed medium and manufactured via laser welding, these antennas are equipped with recyclable radomes. This design not only minimizes signal transmission loss and improves efficiency but also decreases overall weight through lightweight materials, achieving dual optimization in performance and sustainability.
4. Massive MIMO Antenna
The Massive MIMO antenna achieves a 20-60% reduction in size and significant weight savings through its integrated design, enabling easier deployment and space-efficient installations. Complemented by the AFU module's exceptional signal consistency and operational stability, it facilitates ultra-fast data transmission while meeting stringent requirements for high-speed, high-capacity communications.
5. Low-altitude Economy Solutions
Our low-altitude communication solution adapts specialized beamforming technology to guarantee seamless network access for aircraft within 600-meter airspace, setting up a ground-to-low-altitude communication network. This ensures safe flight routing for drones and other low-altitude vehicles, supporting efficient operations while offering a reliable communication backbone for the growing low-altitude economy. This innovative communication has successfully passed joint operator and integrator testing and has been deployed in multiple low-altitude economy pilot projects.
